When I was 8, I wanted to be this guy...
When I was 11, I wanted to be this guy...
When I turned 12, I wanted to be this guy...
When I was 13, I wanted to be this guy.
Then at 14, I wanted to be this guy...
When I was 15, I wanted to be these guys...
At 18, I wanted to be -- and was! -- this guy...
For the next 30-40 years, I tried to be this guy....
Age 70, I turned out to be all of these guys.

For those who might need a key:
1. George Reeves as Superman and Noel Neill as Lois Lane
2. Sean Connery (of course) as James Bond
3. Alfred E. Neumann, MAD magazine’s mascot
4. Charles Schulz, Peanuts cartoonist
5. Roberto Clemente, Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder
6. The Beatles, on my favorite record sleeve
7. My main squeeze and I at Cedar Point in Ohio
8. Fred MacMurray as wise dad/engineer Steve Douglas of “My Three Sons”
9. Did I mention this was my favorite record sleeve?
I didn’t need a key, and I really liked your choices! Loved that roller coaster shot of you and Sue!
On the ferris wheel, taken by good friend Bill Foster.
I can’t find my old Mad Magazines!
Wish I had saved even one of them!
Cannot imagine how I was so lucky to have him in my life for all these 50 plus years. My best blessing and as my children have heard with rolled eyes–“I wouldn’t walk down the aisle, I would run”. If I knew how it worked and could give it away to others, I would. So glad that I met him in physics class and gave him a ride home when I was picking up my grandmother from work and said let’s go out with some friends.
Except Sue’s mom was picking *her* up and Sue walked by and picked *me* up at the bus stop outside the Farmer’s Pride poultry store and we both went back to Sue’s house in her Mom’s white Chevy Nova. People’s memories differ.
Love this scrapbook!!!
