Here it is, the Monday night following Sunday’s ambush shooting of six policemen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  The dead shooter, Gavin Long, maintained a website called Convos with Cosmo which — unbelievably — is still accessible (as of now) to the curious.

I recommend that you satisfy your curiosity while you can.  It will be informative.

Cosmo’s website is much more sophisticated in design and layout than mine.  His site drips with brand identity — he calls himself an alpha preneur: a self-styled nutritionist, trainer, “freedom strategist” and “mental game coach.”  He offered 30 minutes of his coaching for $69, one hour for $119, and “on-the-fly” sessions for $149.  What would you have learned from his coaching?  Try this:

… through my own research, and personal experience of encountering, courting, dating, and sexing numerous women from MANY different cultures around the world, I have compiled some bulletproof results that I know work to perfection.

And one thing I know for sure is that there’s something about Alpha Males that women find very-very attractive.  And that is traits.  And genuine alpha male traits have nothing to do with looks, or money.

After enumerating thirteen traits, Cosmo concludes [sic]:

If you can develop and combine these traits and characteristics into your tool chest, then I you will be able to get any woman on this Earth, no matter how big your bank account may be or the amount of material possessions you have.  Traits are the key to a woman’s heart (and panties lol).

News media reported that Gavin Long’s site was not particularly well-visited.  Apparently, far fewer people read or were influenced by his site than Gavin/Cosmo imagined.  So, who was the real audience for his man-centric pronouncements?  My guess is, Gavin himself.

Apart from being born into a racist gun-crazy society, that would be the only thing that this killer and I had in common.
