\u2022 The Kardashians, Kayne West, Gwyneth Paltrow and other so-called influencers.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Academy Awards’ Best Picture, the Grammy Awards’ Best Recording, the Tony Awards’ Best Play, and the Country Music Awards’ Entertainer of the Year.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Crewing on someone’s sailboat (as if they would ask me).<\/p>\n

\u2022 Whether it was Laurel or Yanny, or white-and-gold vs. black-and-blue.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Playing the slots (or anything else) at a casino.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The local symphony orchestra (wherever local may be).\u00a0 Even in a casino.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Property Brothers.\u00a0 Or their personal-grooming products.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Church.\u00a0 (I would attend an AME Zion service if they would just let me sit in the balcony and listen — and yes, that would be a contradiction.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 What will befall Roseanne<\/em> now that Roseanne is no longer on the show and what will befall Today with Megyn Kelly <\/em>now that Megyn is no longer on the show.\u00a0 Let me guess, not that I am interested in either outcome.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Nor am I at all interested in basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, college football,\u00a0 NASCAR, or competitive hot-dog eating.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Or Mike Pence’s self-imposed marital fidelity guidelines.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Or Fresh Air<\/em> with Terry Gross and whoever her guest is.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Or iPhone sizes, features, resolutions, or…<\/p>\n

\u2022 Where my chicken comes from.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Watching glaciers fall into the ocean on a ship off the coast of Alaska.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Standing in line for almost anything, including Disney World.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Whether my non-existent gun collection will be confiscated by the government.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Investing my time in people who aren’t very interested in returning the investment.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Whatever Trump has to say, especially when he is called upon to be truthful or sincere.\u00a0 But just about every other time as well.<\/p>\n
