{"id":11994,"date":"2015-11-29T19:39:18","date_gmt":"2015-11-30T00:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chcollins.com\/100Billion\/?p=11994"},"modified":"2022-08-01T07:43:02","modified_gmt":"2022-08-01T11:43:02","slug":"the-smallest-fan-clubs-in-the-u-s-a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chcollins.com\/100Billion\/2015\/11\/the-smallest-fan-clubs-in-the-u-s-a\/","title":{"rendered":"The Smallest Fan Clubs in the U.S.A."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is not generally known to most Americans, but one of the more insidious provisions buried in the Affordable Care Act was the requirement that all Official Fan Clubs report their membership totals to the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Technical_Information_Service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Technical Information Service<\/a> on September 30 of every odd-numbered year.\u00a0 The most recent OFC report has just been released; I thought I would share some of it, as you are unlikely to see these figures published anywhere else.<\/p>\n<p>This post focuses on the very smallest fan clubs, of those who bothered to report.\u00a0 Here are the top dozen (or bottom, as it were).\u00a0 Total membership is in parentheses.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 People Who Still Care About Don Draper Club (1)<br \/>\n\u2022 Hair Club for Trumps (1)<br \/>\n\u2022 We Just Can&#8217;t Get Enough of David Spade!
