<\/p>\nWe all know how pre-school kids draw the sun — a big yellow circle with a bunch of lines coming out of it.\u00a0 That’s all right for little kids.\u00a0 But we figure 30-year-olds know better.\u00a0 Do they?\u00a0 Here is how a bunch of 30-year-old kid artists draw the sun:<\/p>\n

These images were lifted from various online news and weather sites.\u00a0 Let’s consider them in turn, from left to right.<\/p>\n
The first sun has an odd appearance.\u00a0 Unlike our familiar sun, it is dark in the middle and illuminated from above… but by what?\u00a0 Another, brighter sun perhaps?<\/p>\n
The second sun is even odder.\u00a0 Bright in the center, like our own Sun, but with a bright perimeter, as if it were being illuminated from behind.\u00a0 The most remarkable part, though, is that this sun not only emits light but reflects it!\u00a0 We can only wonder what heavenly body, somewhere off to the right, is creating that window-like reflection.\u00a0 I know.\u00a0 It is our tenth planet, Windows 10.<\/p>\n
The third sun is your everyday cosmic water-balloon, complete with a weird air bubble.\u00a0 But don’t pop it — those spiny rays could fly out and hurt you!<\/p>\n
Our fourth sun, not to be outdone, casts a shadow!\u00a0 I’m not sure what celestial plane this shadow is falling upon, but that doesn’t seem to bother this pre-school artist.\u00a0 When you have photoshop, who needs physics?\u00a0\u00a0 Physics isn’t taught until high-school.\u00a0 Photoshop can be mastered by kids.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
